Nestling on a raised sunny plateau is our renovated stone farmhouse with stunning views onto the rolling Marche countryside and onto Monte Vettore, the highest peak in the Sibillini mountain range.
The traditional Marchigiani farmhouse is situated in an idyllic, secluded position surrounded by nature, perfectly placed for easy access to a fantastic range of mountain walking. It is also a tranquil base from which you can explore many of the delights this wonderful area of Le Marche has to offer. Casa di Pietra (The Stonehouse) is close to the beautiful hilltop village of Montefortino, just up the road from the lovely old town of Amandola on the edge of the Sibillini National Park. Most of the major mountain peaks in the park are visible from the garden with breathtaking views of the range from ‘our little hill'. The delightful award winning beaches of the Adriatic are about 30km away. The house offers two characterful apartments with exposed beams throughout, a one-bedroom and a two-bedroom apartment with all modern amenities and fully fitted kitchens, each bedroom has its own ensuite.
