Doesn't it all look so easy on the telly?
In fact although we didn't know at the time of looking at the house, the property has actually been featured on the tv programme 'A Place in the Sun, Home or Away'.
We must have been up there with the butterflies somewhere in the Sibilllini range on cloud paradiso when we envisaged the project to take the maximum of a year (I mean just think what you can achieve in a WHOLE year!)
A 'couple' of years down the line and we have done it!
We are still loving living here but have maybe had to become more patient? realistic? or shall we say just wiser about renovating. But it has been great fun!
History of the house? We know the stonehouse was a farm with cows and pigs, but we are not sure of the date of the building. The sheep were kept in a separate building, a capanna, on whose footprint our house was built.
